Platform Role

Coachfinder is a technology platform facilitating bookings and payments between clients and independent coaches. CF Global Sports Group (Pty) Ltd t/a Coachfinder does not provide coaching services.

Independent Contractor

The Coach operates as an independent contractor and service provider on Coachfinder — not as an employee, partner, joint venturer, or agent of CF Global Sports Group (Pty) Ltd t/a Coachfinder. The Coach is solely responsible for their services, qualifications, conduct, and tax obligations.

Wallet Withdrawals

Session fees become available in your wallet once the related booking is marked completed. You can request a withdrawal at any time for any amount within your available balance — each request is verified automatically within seconds, and once approved it's included in that day's payout batch, paid via EFT every business day at 18:00. From there, normal EFT timing applies: funds typically arrive within 1–2 business days, or immediately, depending on your bank. No separate withdrawal fee applies.

Cancellations (48-Hour Rule)

The Coach agrees to the platform's flat 48-hour cancellation rule: clients who cancel 48 hours or more before a scheduled session receive a full refund. Clients who cancel within 48 hours of the session forfeit the full session fee, which is retained as compensation for the reserved time the Coach is unable to rebook. This rule is fixed platform-wide and is not configurable by individual Coaches.

Verification

All identification and certification documents submitted must be accurate, current, and may be re-verified at any time. False or misleading information may result in suspension or termination.

Free Trial

After verification, coaches receive 30 free sessions or 1 month of full platform access — whichever limit is reached first. If you upgrade to a paid plan before your free access ends, any unused free sessions carry over into your new plan. If you don't upgrade in time, unused free sessions expire and do not carry over.

Pricing & Fees

Coachfinder charges no commission on coaching sessions. A single Platform Fee applies, set by Coachfinder, covering both merchant (bank/payment processing) and platform administrative charges — no separate merchant or payment-gateway charge is added. No fee is charged on wallet withdrawals, as set out in the Pricing & Billing Schedule.

Payment Methods & On-Platform Payments

Payments can be made via American Express, card payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Scan to Pay, 1Voucher, or Pay by Bank. Capitec Pay is coming soon.

Liability & Consumer Protection

CF Global Sports Group (Pty) Ltd t/a Coachfinder is not liable for coaching outcomes, advice, or results, subject to the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable law.

Data Protection (POPIA)

Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the platform Privacy Policy.

Electronic Acceptance

Acceptance is confirmed via electronic checkbox, digital signature, or continued use of the platform in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA). Current legal documents are published at /legal.

Billing, Renewal & Account Freezing

The Coach acknowledges that monthly plans are prepaid and cover a one-month period per purchase, with the option to renew or upgrade at any time during that period. If the plan expires without renewal, unused sessions carry over automatically into one further month, during which the Coach's profile remains active. A warning is sent 3 (three) days before that additional month is due to end. Once the carried-over sessions are exhausted or that additional month ends — whichever happens first — the profile is frozen immediately if no new plan has been purchased. Freezing does not delete the Coach's profile or history, and the Coach may reactivate at any time by purchasing a new plan. Annual/VIP plans cover a fixed 12-month term with sessions pooled and usable at any pace. Where the Coach is a natural person, the plan may be cancelled at any time with 20 business days' written notice; the refund is calculated pro-rata for the unused term, less one month's standard-rate fee as a cancellation charge, and will never be less than R0. Where the Coach is registered as a juristic person (institutional account), the plan remains non-cancellable for its term and may only be upgraded. Multi-Athlete Standard Bookings + Group Training Events

Where a session involves more than one athlete — whether through a multi-athlete standard booking or a Group Training Event — each athlete added consumes one session from the Coach's plan session pool and is billed at the Coach's normal per-session rate. This applies in addition to, and on the same basis as, the standard per-session billing described elsewhere in this Agreement.

Group Training Event cancellation

Where a Coach cancels an entire Group Training Event, every athlete who paid to attend is entitled to a full refund, processed through Coachfinder's standard refund process as set out in the Refund Policy. No separate cancellation or refund mechanism applies to Group Training Events.

Coach Leaderboard - Public display of ranking data

Coachfinder may publicly display a Coach's session activity, ranking, and related achievements as part of the Coach Leaderboard and any related recognition features on the platform

Institutional Registration

Main Coach: an individual Coach or Institution operating a Coachfinder business account, under which one or more Sub-Coaches may be registered. Sub-Coach: a verified Coach registered under a Main Coach's account, subject to the same verification and this Agreement's terms.
