Thank you for choosing Coachfinder. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how they're processed, and the exceptions that apply. Please read it alongside our Client Terms Summary and Plan & Pricing Schedule.
Process for Refunds:
To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service with your booking details. Make sure to include your name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation.
Processing Time:
Once a refund is approved, it is paid out on the next scheduled payout day — Coachfinder processes all refunds every Tuesday and Friday. Please note that the time taken for funds to reflect in your account after payout may vary depending on your bank.
No-Show Policy:
If you do not show up for your appointment and have not provided prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Service Changes:
If a Coach changes or cancels your appointment, you may request a full refund or choose an alternative date.
Exceptions:
Refunds will not be granted if the user violates our terms of service. Monthly plans are non-refundable once purchased. Coachfinder does not automatically renew a monthly plan, so no cancellation action is needed to stop billing — the plan simply runs its course per the lifecycle set out in the Plan & Pricing Schedule (including automatic session carry-over and profile freezing if not renewed).
VIP/Annual Plan Cancellation (Individual Coaches): In line with Section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act, where the subscriber is a natural person, you may cancel your VIP annual plan at any time by giving Coachfinder 20 business days' written notice. Your refund will be calculated as: the unused portion of your annual fee (pro-rated by full months remaining), less a cancellation fee equal to one month's fee at the standard plan rate for your tier. This fee reflects the value of the discount and additional benefits provided in anticipation of the full annual term. Refunds will never be less than R0.
Institutional accounts (schools, universities, academies, clubs registered as a juristic person): the above cancellation right does not apply, consistent with the Consumer Protection Act's exclusion for juristic-person transactions above the applicable threshold. Your plan remains governed by the terms agreed at sign-up.
